Yogurt Chocolate Cake

Ingredients
A
2 cups wheat flour
1½ teaspoons baking soda
2/3 cups cocoa powder
300 grams butter or margarine
1½ cups castor sugar
1½ cup Lactel Natural Set Yogurt
2 eggs
1 teaspoon essence of Vanilla
Topping
300 grams cooking chocolate
150 grams Lactel Fat Free Yogurt

Lay baking paper on a round or square 10” cake mould. Sift ingredients A in together.

Beat butter, sugar and vanilla essence in a bowl until creamy.

Add eggs and beat, one by one.

Fold the ingredients in with Lactel Natural Set Yogurt until Even

Bake in pre-heated oven at 180ºC for 45 minutes or until it is cooked. Take out from oven and leave to cool.

In the mean time, mix the chocolate and LACTEL Fat Free Yogurt in a bowl. Melt the chocolate and yoghurt mixture by placing the bowl in a bigger pot that is filled with hot water and heat that pot up (double boiling method). Stir till even. Spread the top part of the cooled cake and if you’d like, you can even create patterns using a fork. Leave for a while before cutting it.
